It's so good to know that (a) I'm not the only person who seems to be answered by idiots when I call a service provider of any kind and (b) I am not the only person to get murderously frustrated by stupid people in jobs that require minimum intelligence and logic. Too much to ask it seems. It reminds me of the parcel delivery service that dad used to deliver 12 packages and on discovering that they only delivered half of them he rang to complain. Response " there is no need to be so irate sir. We did deliver your packages. Except for the ones we didn't deliver" Do you remember that Diane. You are not alone. That doesn't fix anything but there may be small comfort in the knowledge that it isn't personal and they cannot help themselves.....it would appear.</description>

					<description>That cover up sounds familiar. A friend of mine has written a long and vitriolic letter to NTL due to them messing her around, only in that case she was asking for technical help and the technician wasn't able to do it. She requested to know how to reset her router, not reboot it, reset it and reconfigure it. The technician proceeded to tell her how to turn it off and on again. How would you have responded there? :)

Also, thank you for giving me something entertaining to read! I hope the idiotic problems cease and desist before you leave.</description>

					<description>If I were to do that, I imagine they would quite rightly transfer me back to the billing department, as any problems I have had have been the result of bad financial administration rather than actual technical issues. 

If someone calling my company asked specifically to speak to me and then complained about an invoice not being correctly sent out I would neither be pleased nor capable of helping.</description>
