I think I’ll start by learning hog butchery…

“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”

I think I could do all of those things. Except maybe the diaper one. And the accounts one.

But it doesnt matter. Because he never says anything about doing these things well. And I would certainly give hog-butchery and ship conning a good go :)

I think I’d make a fair fist of most of them with the exception of the conning a ship. No likka de watter! Could I conn the ship but only allow people I don’t like to sail in it? Otherwise I’ in!
