Posted by diamond in : Random , 3 commentsWhen you mount a samba drive using nautilus, it places a shortcut on your desktop of the form ‘$sharename on $host’. When however i mounted the share ’steve’ on ‘eoin-brazils-machine’, the name was truncated, leading to the rather amusing:

Posted by diamond in : Random , add a commentRang one of the recruiters in google, they said they’ve not heard anything back from the US yet, so it’ll most likely be tomorrow. If i haven’t heard anything by 17:00 tomorrow i’m to ring them back and they’ll make further enquires. After 3 months, waiting is wearing a little thin.
