Just arrived 2006 October 31 1:20

I have travelled dub->lhr (1 hour) and lhr->sfo (11 hours) today, and gotten one hour’s sleep in the last 39 hours. I’ve also driven on american highways for the first time ever. The sheer terror of it boggles my fried brain. The absymal surfacing of the roads, the stunningly bad handling and suspension, the aggressive unhelpful road users, aaaaaaagh. And now at last i sleep.

I was too tired to remember clearly. It was in fact 30 mins sleep in 39 hours.

Well, 101 at rush hour is a bit like being dumped onto the Kinsale Road roundabout during the Jazz Festival.
It’ll get better
