Did you go into remission? I'm a 30 yr old woman and I was recently diagnosed, I'm finding the condition unbearable and the urologist I was under very unsympathetic. He basically discharged me saying there was nothing more he could do. Thankfully my GP is better, he knows little about IC but has agreed to import Emilron for me on a named patient basis as it's the only FDA approved drug for the condition. I want to ask him for a referral to a new urologist and just wondered who you saw? I'm finding it difficult to find someone with experience of this condition in Ireland.
