stuff happened

so yeah, i was back in IE for new year. Thankyou to all, especially those whom I imposed upon for accommodation and similar, it was really appreciated.

Back in the world of work, i’m looking for a way out. (Still. But more seriously I think.)

I am also interested to note the publishing of a formula to define procrastination. It’s something I suffer greatly from, to my great frustration.

In other news, I am slightly concerned to notice that my new MBP may be suffering from swollen battery syndrome. If it becomes any more pronounced (and certain) I will be requesting a replacement.

For all that I believe that Apple make very good products all in (and I am fully aware of peoples’ opinions both for and against this viewpoint), they do have an ongoing problem with quality control. One of the most obvious guidelines for buying an Apple product, is don’t buy a first-generation product. It always appears to be the case that post-first-generation products have far fewer issues, as reported by the likes of MacFixit. I had hoped that the third generation of MBP would be free of these (by this stage widely-known and reported) problems, but it appears the may not be. *sigh*

Back to procrastinating…
