I don’t usually link to such things, but despite being posted on The Register, there’s a very well thought out essay about the UK Navy’s decision, via it’s BAE Systems/ Insyte contractor, to implement command and control systems running Windows 2000 on it’s Type 45 Destroyers, and eventually potentially retrofit it to attack submarines including the Vanguard series which carry the UK’s nuclear ‘deterrent’…
