T.A.W.A.N.

Lo folks. After some consultation with bytemark, nonado will be moving from a uml (User Mode Linux) virtual machine to a Xen virtual machine. Xen is the new kid on the block for doing virtual machines, and is supposed to be the way forward. Bytemark contacted me yesterday to know if we wanted to migrate and see if that fixes some debugging issues we’ve been having. From the sounds of it, it looks like they’re going to be migrating everything to Xen over the next while if all the testing continues as it as done. I’ve been told it’ll require about 20 mins of downtime to switch, but i’ve no idea when this will be. I’ll try to keep here updated about it.
